Photography is my passion and my way of sharing positive emotions with others. With this website, I want to showcase my best shots taken during my travels to various parts of the world.
My name is Evgeniy Bierich.
I am a professional nature and travel photographer based in Germany. I was born in 1987 in Russia and moved to Germany with my parents when I was 16. My love for photography started early, when my father bought a film camera. That’s how I learned the basics of photography, and over time, my passion only grew.
At the beginning of my professional activity as a photographer, I tried different genres of photography in order to find my own way. In nature photography, I have found a creative form of expression for the joy of creation. At first, I experimented with different genres, but I eventually found my true calling in nature photography. For me, capturing nature is a way to express my joy for creativity. I’m also drawn to architecture, the culture of different people, and exploring historical monuments, castles, and ruins that have preserved the atmosphere of past eras.
In 2013, I turned my passion for photography into my profession. Since then, I’ve worked as a photographer specializing in nature and travel photography. One of my favorite places to shoot is the romantic Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which inspired me to create this website. Today, my travels take me across Europe and sometimes even to more distant countries.
Since launching my website k24wi.de in 2015, I’ve been publishing high-quality content on travel destinations, offering fresh perspectives and inspiring readers to discover new places.
I shoot in RAW format and use Capture One for image processing. My goal is to maintain the authenticity of each image and avoid excessive editing to capture the true beauty of the world around us.
